The US police announced that 23 people were injured in an accident involving a car breaking into a restaurant in the US state of Texas.
Police said in a statement that a car rammed into a “Denny’s” restaurant in Rosenberg, Texas, on Monday, resulting in minor and serious injuries.
The police confirmed that all the injured were taken to local hospitals, adding that the driver of the car was unharmed.
“The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing,” the statement added.
The police published a picture from the scene of the accident, showing that the car entered the building almost completely after the collapse of part of the wall that it collided with.
