The Anti-Crime Directorate announced the arrest of three persons accused of robbery and theft crimes in Maysan.
The directorate said in a statement, “Two persons accused of theft crime were arrested and a stolen vehicle was seized in their possession in one of the governorate’s areas.”
It added, “The Anti-Crime Directorate detachments arrested a third suspect who committed the crime of stealing an amount of (140) million dinars earlier from a house in the center of the city of Amara,” noting that “the defendants explicitly confessed during the investigation of the crimes attributed to them.”
