38th Tehran Int’l Short Film Festival kicks off

Tehran, IRNA – The 38th edition Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) inaugurated on Tuesday, with works submitted from 128 countries.

Secretary of TISFF Sadeq Mousavi said that the festival has managed to register as Academy Awards qualifying event, so that films awarded by festival could make their ways to the OSCARS.

TISFF would be held in two national and international sections, according to Mousavi who added that 6,402 short films from 128 countries and 1,775 Iranian short films have been submitted to the festival.
