The security forces in Maysan arrested 5 defendants wanted for premeditated murder in the Qalaat Saleh district, south of the governorate.
The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “A force from the Third Regiment, 97th Infantry Brigade of the Operations Command, in partnership with the Qalat Saleh District Police Station, was able to arrest (5) defendants wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article (406) Premeditated murder and weapons and equipment were seized, indicating that the accused were handed over with the seized items to the competent authorities.”
