The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the arrest of 6 drug dealers in Baghdad and Babylon governorates.
The Directorate stated in a statement that “our detachments were able to arrest five drug dealers in Baghdad and another in Babylon governorate,” indicating that “various narcotic substances, a hand grenade and light weapons were seized in their possession.”
It added that “arrest warrants were issued against the accused in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) Narcotics,” stressing that “legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the judiciary.”
