Qom, IRNA – 600 scholars and students of Iran’s seminary schools issued a statement to back Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s comments in his recent speech.
The statement issued on Thursday praised the Iranian nation’s vigilance and their exemplary presence in the scene that foiled all the conspiracies of the enemies of Iran.
The seminary schools and its scholars and students reiterated the pledge of allegiance to the Supreme Leader and said that they were ready for making efforts and sacrifice their lives in this path.
Religious authorities have always been the guardians of Islam, the statement said, calling on those scholars who paved the way for desecration of religious beliefs to compensate for their miscalculation and condemn recent unrests in Iran.
The statement also praised the law enforcement and security forces, and said that Velayat Faqih and the Islamic Republic which is the result of struggles made by the late Imam Khomeini, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, and the sacrifices of hundreds of thousands of martyrs had been targeted by corrupt movements fed by alien intelligence organizations.
The enemies are troubled with the efficiency of the Islamic Republic in ensuring Iran’s security and progress in the last four decades and its becoming a role model for the oppressed nations from Yemen to Palestine, the statement added.
