A force from the intelligence of the Ninth Brigade of the Kirkuk and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces arrested today, Thursday, three defendants in their possession smuggled materials in the Samarra district in Salah al-Din.
The Popular Mobilization Forces said in a statement that the force was able, through intelligence information, to seize three large vehicles on the Samarra-Baghdad road, inside which large quantities of smuggled materials were found.
They added that the accused and the aforementioned materials were handed over to the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Department in Salah al-Din.
