The Popular Mobilization Commission announced today, Sunday the launch of a wide security operation in Nineveh Governorate.

The Commission stated in a statement, “The Nineveh Operations Command of the PMF has launched a wide security operation in Nineveh.”

It added that the “Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, represented by Brigades “21-25-44-60” embarked on a wide security operation from four axes, starting from Hatra Island to the separating borders with the leaderships of Salah al-Din Operations and Al-Jazeera Operations. The operation aims to dry up the sources of terrorism and impose security and stability.”
