The Popular Mobilization Commission announced today, Tuesday, the launch of a large-scale security operation, west of Tarmiya, to search for wanted persons and remnants of ISIS terrorist elements.
A statement by the Commission stated, “A force from the 12th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in coordination with the security forces, launched a wide security operation in the areas west of Tarmiya.”
It added, “The security operation came to search for the wanted persons and the remnants of ISIS terrorist elements, with the aim of securing the north of the capital, Baghdad.”/ End
