The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed today, Tuesday, the need to follow the scientific procedures required to uncover mass graves, calling for immortalizing the victims of these painful massacres.
Al-Hakim said, in a statement: “Great statistics announced by the official authorities about the number of mass graves that have been uncovered in various parts of Iraq and throughout the country, whether those dating back to the era of the exterminated dictatorship and those dating back to the period of ISIS terrorist control over large areas of the country.”
He added, “On the National Day of Mass Graves, we commend the efforts that continue to search for more graves, and urge the adoption of the required scientific procedures to uncover them.”
Al-Hakim called for “perpetuating the victims of these painful massacres and informing generations of the extent of their enormity.”/ End
