Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on the success of the presidential elections, and congratulated the new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, on his victory.
In a statement, Al-Mandalawi wished continued progress for the brotherly neighbor Iran, security and stability for the Iranian people, and for Pezeshkian success in his duties.
He expressed his aspiration to consolidate bilateral relations at various levels in a way that contributes to the prosperity and well-being of the two brotherly countries and is in the interest of the two honorable peoples.
