First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, congratulated the Iraqi people on the 103rd anniversary of the twentieth anniversary against the British occupation.

Al-Mandalawi said in a press statement: “The revolution of the twentieth that started from the womb of the Iraqi society and its honorable clans and clerics was not a fleeting revolution like the rest of the revolutions that history talked about.

He added: “This revolution bore the imprints of our society, starting from the middle and southern Euphrates, all the way to Baghdad, Ramadi and the far north, where their blood was mixed, and its repercussions in the unification of Iraqi society still exist to this day.”
