Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani sent today, Friday, a message of condolence to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, during which he offered his condolences to the victims of the criminal incident, which targeted students at the Military College in Homs.
In the telegram, Al-Sudani expressed the condolences and sympathies of Iraq, the government and people, to the brotherly Syrian people, and his sympathy for the families of the martyrs and the wounded, and affirmed Iraq’s standing with the people and the Syrian government in the face of terrorism and the forces of extremism and criminality, calling for mercy for the martyrs, and a speedy recovery for the wounded.
