Alloy steel manufacturing plan kicks off in southern Iran

Ganaveh, IRNA— On the fifth day of the government week in Iran, the executive operations of the alloy steel manufacturing plan started in Bushehr Steel Complex in Ganaveh city, southern Iran.

The production products of Bushehr Steel Complex, include concentrated products, sponge iron, alloy steel sheet, etc.

The area of this project in the complete steel cycle is 200 hectares, the power plant is 100 hectares and the desalination plant is one hectare.

The purpose of implementing Bushehr steel complex is to produce alloy steel sheet to meet the needs of the province and export.

This project will provide employment for 1,400 people and more than $525 million will be spent to complete this project.

Bandar Ganaveh is a city in and capital of Ganaveh County, Bushehr Province, Iran.

Government week in Iran marks the martyrdom of former President Mohammad Ali Rajaei and his prime minister – Mohammad Javad Bahonar.
