Tehran, IRNA – Iranian cinematographer Massoud Amini Tirani won Asian Film Awards Academy’s Best Cinematography for “The Wasteland”.

The 15th Asian Film Awards Ceremony was held on October 8 in Busan, South Korea.

Iranian Director of The Wasteland, Ahmad Bahrami, was nominated for the Best New Director award from the Asian academy.

The ceremony was held both in person and online alongside the 26th Busan International Film Festival on October 6-15.

The Wasteland, which has already participated in over 25 international festivals and won various awards, has been shot in black-and-white and narrates the story of workers.
