Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit met here yesterday with UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland, with whom he discussed developments in Gaza Strip and West Bank and the threat posed to regional stability by the ongoing aggressive war on Gaza Strip.
Aboul Gheit said that the Western world’s lack of action vis-à-vis the conflict that has been going on for an entire year will severely impact regional stability, and that the Israeli massacres are a significant obstacle to any possibility of achieving peace.
