Tehran, IRNA – Archbishop of Armenians in Tehran Sebouh Sarkissian has described Saint Mary- mother of Jesus Christ- as a bridge that boosts interaction and dialogue between religions.
Mary (AS) has special status in Islam, Sarkissian said at fourth international meeting on woman and style of life of Saint Mary.
At his remarks, the Archbishop congratulated all Christians all over the world on New Year, and wished a good year for all.
The fourth international meeting on woman and style of life of Saint Mary was held online and in person with participation of a number of Iranian officials, a group of scholars and family members of Assyrian, Christian and Armenian martyrs.
