Attention to problems of Iranians residing abroad HR Council’s top agenda

Tehran, IRNA – The deputy chief of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Judiciary for international affairs said on Wednesday that efforts to solve problems of Iranians residing out of the country are on top of agenda of the High Council for Human Rights.

Also, endeavor to provide legal services for foreign nationals in the country and to follow up fulfillment of interests of the Iranian nation has been prioritized, Kazem Gharibabadi said at his inauguration ceremony in Tehran.

At the ceremony, Gharibabadi was introduced as the deputy chief of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Judiciary for international affairs and the secretary of the country’s High Council for Human Rights.

Speaking at the ceremony, Gharibabadi highlighted the issue of human rights, saying that promotion of civil rights based on religious guidelines was among his plans.

He went on to say that he would also pursue crimes committed against the Islamic Republic.

As he noted, he has a plan to establish purposeful relations with other international judicial bodies.

Gharibabadi has already acted as Iran’s ambassador to the Vienna-based international organizations.
