Ayatollah Raisi instructs launching Sari waste incineration plant in the next 6 months/ People should not wait for the launching of projects for which there is credit and solution

During a visit to the 450-ton semi-functional waste incineration plant in Sari, the President stressed the need to launch it in the next six months.

Speaking on Friday during the visit, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed regret over the delay of several years in the completion and commissioning of this important power plant complex with an annual production capacity of 30,000 megawatts, and said, “People should not wait for plans and projects for which there is credit and solution and it is necessary to complete such projects with double effort and will”.

The President described waste as one of the problems of different provinces, especially Mazandaran province, and said, “Launching and completing projects related to waste that are related to people’s daily lives should not be delayed because it causes hardship and annoyance to people”.

Dr Raisi also instructed the First Vide-President to address the issues in this regard before the end of the year.
