The President, who is in Khuzestan province for the fifth time in a year since the formation of the Popular Administration, to inaugurate the huge Ghadir Water Supply Project, visited the deprived and remote area of Ahmadfedaleh in Dezful and met with the people.
Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi travelled to Khuzestan province before noon on Friday to participate in the official inauguration ceremony of the huge Ghadir Water Supply Project, which has been implemented to provide healthy and sustainable drinking water to residents of 26 cities and 1,000 villages in the province.
During the aerial visit to parts of the water supply route of this project in Shahyoun region of Dezful County, the President also met with the people of the deprived, mountainous and remote region of Ahmadfedaleh and while talking with them, he discussed their problems and requests, especially the completion of roads.
The President assigned Seyyed Amirhossein Madani, the Deputy of Rural Development and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Jihad of Construction to follow-up on solving the problems of the residents of this area.
