Baku, IRNA – Azerbaijani lawmaker Fazil Mustafa said that Azerbaijan Republic was eager to have a good neighborly relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Azerbaijan Republic is all for dialogue in its relationship with Iran and any other country, Mustafa said in an interview with Yeni Sabah news outlet, adding that all the people in the Republic of Azerbaijan wanted a normal neighbor relationship with Iran.
We want good neighborliness, because we have no problem with Iran. There will be no disagreement as long as we have good relations with Iran, the MP noted, this is what we say and any negative deduction from this statement is totally wrong.
Mustafa also underlined that Azerbaijan would neither interfere in Iran’s internal affairs nor participate in any sanction or countering measures against Iran.
He went on to say that the Republic of Azerbaijan speaks with Iran in a neighborly language and expects Iran to do the same.
People have suffered enough from the coronavirus and the don’t need another problem, Azerbaijani legislator underscored, adding that all the issues must be resolved through dialogue.
