Azerbaijani visitors welcome Iran’s pavilion in int’l book fair

Baku, IRNA – Iran’s pavilion in Baku International Book Fair (BIBF) was flocked by Azerbaijani visitors after the opening of the fair and the unveiling of Azerbaijani translation of Nizami Ganjavi’s Haft Peykar, attended by high officials from the Azerbaijan Republic.

Iran’s pavilion is holding literary competitions with the theme of Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi and contemporary Iranian poet Shahriyar, with prizes for those who correctly answer questions.

Azerbaijani visitors warmly welcomed programs held in Iran’s pavilion, as many students are visiting the fair through Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry coordination.

The unveiling of the Azerbaijani translation of the Persian novel ‘A Dark Thing’ (Azerbaijani= Qaralti) by Iranian writer Reza Dalvand was warmly welcomed.

The book fair was inaugurated today and is underway until October 13.
