Riyadh, The Minister of Information of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, was briefed on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s experience in organizing Riyadh International Book Fair (RIBF) and its role in enriching cultural and knowledge exchanges in the field of literature, publishing and translation, along with promoting and developing the passion for reading in the society.
During his meeting at the headquarters of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Riyadh today with a number of officials from the Ministry of Media and the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, Al-Noaimi was briefed on the RIBF’s pivotal role in spreading culture and knowledge and deepening intellectual and civilizational communication among peoples.
Al-Noaimi also briefed the meeting on his country’s participation in this year’s RIBF, through exhibiting the latest intellectual, literary and scientific publications that highlight an important aspect of the Bahraini cultural and civilizational identity.
