The Basra Operations Command held a security conference with sheikhs, dignitaries and clerics in the north of the Governorate to discuss the security situation and clan conflicts, in the presence of the directors of administrative units.
During the conference, they discussed clan disputes and the wanted persons brought to the security authorities after obtaining judicial approvals, which contributes to achieving security and stability and consolidating the principles of civil and community peace.
The Basra Operations Commander, Major General Saad Muhsin Oraibi, stressed during the conference the necessity of respecting and applying the law and providing a hand of assistance to the people of Basra Governorate, so as the citizen enjoys security and safety.
He also stressed the need to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with the citizens of Basra and to be the watchful eye to protect their lives and property.
The Operations Commander inspected a number of security points, station posts, and checkpoints to see the security situation in those areas.
