Tehran, IRNA – Benin’s Foreign Minister Aurélien Agbenonci congratulated Hossein Amirabdollahian on his appointment as foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Benin’s foreign minister in his message on Friday wished success for his Iranian counterpart.

Agbenonci wished success for his Iranian counterpart in his new post.

He said that appointment of Amirabdollahian shows not only trust of Iran’s high-ranking officials, but also his merit and qualifications.

Agbenonci also welcomed the expansion of bilateral relations with Iran.
