BOC Clarifies the Circumstances of the Armed Attack on a Money Exchange Owner in Zayyona Area, in Rusafa


Baghdad Operations Command clarified the circumstances of the armed attack on the owner of a money exchange in Zayyona area in Rusafa side of Baghdad.

The command stated in a statement: Social media and media agencies circulated news stating that “an armed attack on the owner of a money exchange” in Zayyona area in Rusafa, explaining that following the occurrence of gunfire in Zayyona area, a joint force immediately went and surrounded the place. It was found that there was an armed quarrel following a dispute between the “owner of a money exchange” and two brothers near the “Dream City” mall in Zayyona area, which led to the death of one of the brothers and the injury of the owner of the money exchange. He was transferred to the hospital and detained, and the other (the brother of the murdered man) was arrested and a pistol that was in his possession was confiscated, and he was handed over to the competent authorities to take legal action against him.
