Four people, including a medic, were injured in a 14-story apartment building in Egypt’s northern Alexandria Governorate on Monday, according to local reports.

The injured were taken to hospital and they are in stable condition, while rescue teams are still working to remove the rubble and search for survivors, Egypt’s official news agency (MENA) reported.

Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdul-Ghafar said in a press statement that all hospitals in Alexandria are standing by, ready to receive all those injured in the building collapse.
