Tehran, IRNA – Managing Director of Tajikistan national news Agency “Khovar”, Saidali Siddik, referring to hosting Iran cultural week by Tajikistan, said that Iran is a beautiful country and the home of our ancestors, that is why its growth and development is joy for the people of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan’s cities nowadays host the cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of 51 artists, and this central Asian country hosts the cultural week of Iran from October 30 to November 6 in Dushanbe, Khujand, and Bakhtar.
The Iranian cultural week is being held at the official invitation of Tajikistan’s Culture Minister Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda. Poets, authors, musicians, and artists are going to display Iran’s culture and art in the three cities in Tajikistan.
Managing Director of Tajikistan national news Agency said to IRNA that media in Iran and Tajikistan can introduce tourist attractions of these country to other people, Iranians and Tajiks share a common history and culture.
Siddik in this interview added that development of railways, airlines and roadways between the two countries will greatly contribute to the development of tourism for both nations, and as much as these facilites would be expanded, it will help to develop the cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
The CEO of Khovar News Agency termed Iran as a very beautiful country and ancestral home, adding that Iranians and Tajiks have linguistic commonality.
