Tehran, IRNA – School of New Media in Xi’an University of China granted honorary lecturer titles to celebrated Iranian director Narges Abyar and Iranian cultural activist Hossein Khalifi Givi.

Ms. Abyar who is in Xi’an city to direct a Chinese movie held a directing masterclass in Xi’an university to lecture on “directing films through deconstruction”.

Abyar and Khalifi were awarded honorary lecturer titles after the class.

Head of School of New Media thanked Ms. Abyar for her attending the university and called for more cinematic cooperation between Iran and China.

Xi’an city has been the sister city of Iran’s Isfahan since 1989.
