The Directorate of Civil Defense in Kirkuk Governorate announced it had put out a fire that broke out near oil and gas facilities, west of the city.

It explained that a fire broke out in agricultural lands, including grass, near an oil pond belonging to the modern warehouse, with an area of 300 square meters, which led to the outbreak of a large fire, but the civil defense teams managed to extinguish it without significant losses.
