CST Governor Inspects Communications, Technology Services at King Abdulaziz International Airport


Jeddah: Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) Governor Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi visited King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah today to assess the readiness of the communications and technology sector for the Hajj season of 1445H. The visit was part of the CST’s ongoing efforts to enhance services provided to pilgrims during this year’s Hajj.

The tour included all terminals designated for receiving pilgrims arriving from different destinations. The inspection also covered the sales centers of communications service providers. The purpose of the visit was to ensure that the centers were ready to receive pilgrims upon arrival and could meet their needs for subscriber identity module (SIM) cards, internet access, and other related services.

At the conclusion of the tour, Dr. Al-Tamimi emphasized the importance of concerted efforts and the provision of all communications and technology services with high efficiency and quality. This tour is in line with the directives to harness
all efforts in serving pilgrims and preparing for the influx of pilgrims this season.
