Cyprus President Meets with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs


Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides met on Tuesday with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York City.

During the meeting, the minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the president and to the Cypriot government and people. The president sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and to the Saudi government and people.

The president and the minister discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them and reviewed the latest developments at the international level and issues of mutual interest.

Attending the meeting were the Kingdom’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, Abdula
ziz Al-Wasil, and Office of the Foreign Minister Director-General Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.
