Digital Platforms of Two Holy Mosques Convey Ramadan’s Last Friday Sermon to Half a Billion Muslims

Makkah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque successfully delivered the sermon of the fourth and final Friday prayer in Ramadan through its digital platforms and smart applications.

Translated into 14 languages, the sermon, delivered by Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the president of the General Presidency, reached nearly half a billion Muslims worldwide.

This significant number adds to the millions of worshippers and pilgrims who had the opportunity to witness the Friday prayer in the Grand Mosque.

The digital platforms provided 42 services for beneficiaries, setting a record in the history of the relatively new specialized religious apparatus of the Two Holy Mosques.

Such services include 13 through the General Presidency’s electronic gate, four services through the Manarat Al-Haramain digital platform, 13 services through the Library of Al Masjid Al Haram website, 10 services through the Alharamain application, and two services through the Holy Quran a
