Diplomatic consultations continuing in Vienna

Vienna, IRNA – Intensive diplomatic meetings among negotiating delegations aimed at achieving a shared way to revive the JCPOA and remove the unlawful sanctions continued on 5th day of this new round of talks in Vienna, as the EU foreign policy chief reiterated that all sides are trying hard to reach an agreement.

Numerous meetings at various levels and frameworks were held among the different delegation as the Iran-4+1G negotiations session ended in Coburg Hotel on Monday evening.

The other side’s diplomats crossed the street to reach the Marriott Hotel, where the representatives of the US delegation are to hold talks with them. This was the 2nd JCPOA members’ meeting with the Americans in this 7th round of Vienna negotiations in the absence of Iran.

Enrique Mora, the EU foreign policy chief said before entering Marriott Hotel that everyone was trying hard and the negotiations still continue. But the other sides preferred to remain silent.

Even the Russian delegation’s top negotiator Michael Ulyanov whose remarks were falsely reported by the a TV network yesterday preferred to refrain from speaking to the reporters.
