The government and the parliament are going to cooperate to strengthen the banking plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is currently undergoing its review stages in the parliament.
In the Sunday night meeting of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board, which was held under the chairmanship of Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the Governor of the Central Bank presented a report on the process of examining the Banking Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is currently on the agenda of the representatives in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), and reported on the most important changes in the structure, duties and objectives of the Central Bank.
After this report, the members decided to continue the government’s cooperation with the parliament in finalising this plan and follow up on the government’s point of view to strengthen the banking plan.
