Egypt is a major player in environmental agreements


Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, praised the forum, which began talking about the idea of the green economy since its first session in 2018, to shed light over the past six years on this important file, at a time when it did not receive direct attention from ordinary citizens, and there was a kind of isolation among the economic file in general .

the environmental file and sustainability in general, which makes the initiatives presented at the forum part of the mechanisms for raising awareness and applying the concept of the green economy through actual projects and initiatives among young people on the ground.

This came during a speech delivered by Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, on behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, at the Sixth Forum for Transformation Strategies towards a Green Economy, in the presence of representatives of ministries, the international community, the private sector, and experts, as an opportunity to highlight promising green investment sectors and pro
vide practical solutions and initiatives.

This is as a step to build a constitution of consensus between the various concerned parties, including the government, the private sector, financiers, civil society, and academics to move towards a green economy.
