Egypt, Jordan urge more global action to resolve Mideast crisis

Egypt and Jordan on Tuesday collectively urged the international community to step up efforts aiming to resolve the Middle East crisis, agreeing amid talks on the need to bolster bilateral cooperation across various fields.

Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi agreed on the need to propel relations to greater levels, which mainly entails boosting bilateral trade, according to presidential spokesman Ahmad Fahmi.
