The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) on Wednesday 3/1/2024 announced that Egypt recorded an increase in population, reaching 105.858 million people on January 1,2024.

On January 1, 2023, the Egyptian population was 104.395 million, CAPMAS said, pointing to a rise by 1.463 million throughout the past year.
