Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Wednesday that enemies are directing the ongoing riots into a dangerous path, with terrorists now using the created environment to conduct acts of terror.
Vahidi made the comment in reaction to the Shiraz terror attack that left 15 people dead and 27 others wounded at the city’s Shah Cheragh holy shrine on Wednesday.
The minister said that the attack revealed enemies’ plot which is a complicated one containing all forms of violence and the killing of innocent people.
He stressed that security officials are closely monitoring the situation.
