Iranian Ambassador to Congo Mohammad Javad Shariati in a message referred to Congo’s readiness for developing diplomatic relations with Iran.

In his Twitter message, Shariati pointed to his meeting with Congolese President’s Advisor Marcel Kalubi, saying that the Congolese official congratulated Ebrahim Raisi’s election as the next Iranian president and expressed readiness for developing diplomatic relations with Tehran.

He added that he exchanged views on implementing some proposed cultural plans during Congo’s presidency of in the African Union.
