Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the US Ambassador to Ankara Jeff Flake on Wednesday.

The Turkish Anadolu News Agency reported that the meeting was held behind closed doors at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara.

No official statement was issued regarding what the two sides discussed in the meeting.
