Emphasising the importance of providing sustainable energy for the growth of Iran’s economy and to pay attention to social justice and support for the deprived, the President said, “The executive bodies should present their proposed programmes for reforming the consumption patterns and observing social justice as soon as possible.”
The meeting of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board was held on Sunday night, chaired by Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, in which the President tasked the government’s economic team to submit their proposed plans regarding consumption pattern and social justice so that a decision can be made as soon as possible.
In this meeting, the issue of providing sustainable energy for Iran’s economy with two axes of rationalising energy consumption and emphasising social justice and supporting the deprived was on the agenda.
