The Anti-Narcotics Directorate announced today, Friday, the dismantling of a drug trafficking network and the arrest of its members, which extends from Baghdad to Maysan.

The Directorate said, in a statement: “A force from Karkh Anti- drug managed to dismantle the most dangerous drug trafficking network, extending from Baghdad to Maysan Governorate, and arrested its head and all its members.”

It added: “The force seized the defendants with 4 kilograms of narcotic crystal, weapons, tools for abuse, and vehicle used to transport narcotic substances.”
