First VP invites Russian businesses to have ties with Iran

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s first vice-president invited Russia businesses to pay heed to Iran’s outstanding geographical position, noting that expanding ties is in the economic interest of Tehran and Moscow.

Mohammad Mokhber who is in Moscow to attend the second meeting of the Caspian Economic Forum (CEF) had a meeting on Wednesday with CEOs of 15 Russian businesses active in the fields of energy, oil and gas, shipping, and agriculture.

During the meeting attended by Iran’s ministers of oil, economy and agriculture and the governor of Central Bank of Iran, Mokhber highlighted the serious determination of Iran to expand ties with Russia businesses.

He underscored joint productions as an important ground for expanding ties and called on Russian businesses to visit Iran and closely monitor the conditions.

During the meeting, Russian CEOs elaborated on the activities of their companies and presented their proposals on how to remove obstacles against expansion of ties between Iran and Russia.
