FM: Iran ready to introduce Iranian musicians’ works to world

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said on Friday that Iran is fully ready to introduce created works by Iranian artists anywhere in the world whose presentation is possible.

Amirabdollahian who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the Fajr Music Festival, marking the 44th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution also listened to the musical plays on it first night.

After watching the performance, Amirabdollahian spoke with the reporters at the Festival, arguing, “Tonight’s presented musical pieces were both precious and magnificent works in Persian music field, and I truly appreciate the artists who played significant roles in creating those fine works.”

The Iranian top diplomat referred to the great role that music plays in strengthening the relations among different nations, reiterating, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is fully ready for presentation of the created musical works by Iranian anywhere in the world whose presentation is possible to let the world nations listen to them and enjoy them.”

The National Orchestra of Iran, conducted by Homayoon Rahimian played some pieces on the first night of the 36th Fajr Film Festival, which will continue till February 22nd and is presented in different Iranian provinces.
