Dar es Salaam, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Thursday described the development of economic relations with African countries, especially Tanzania, as one of the foreign policy priorities of Iran.

Amirabdollahian made the remarks in the joint meeting of economic and trade activists from Iran and Tanzania, adding that Tanzania always has a special place in Iran’s foreign policy.

The people and officials of both countries have a positive view of each other, he added.

Setting up a joint economic commission of the two countries with the aim of pursuing our priority goals and plans can be the starting point for our cooperation, he pointed out.
