Foreign leaders congratulate Iran’s President-Elect Raisi

– Foreign leaders and prominent figures such as Kyrgyz president, the president of Serbia, the Secretary-General of OPEC ,Kyrgyzstan president and former Iraqi prime minister congratulated Iran’s President-Elect Ebrahim Raisi after the final result was announced on Tuesday.

The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov in a congratulation message addressed to President-Elect Ebrahim Raisi wished him success in his new position.

According to the IRNA Political Desk, President Japarov’s message reads:

I hereby wholeheartedly and sincerely congratulate Your Excellency’s victory in Islamic Republic of Iran’s presidential elections.

Kyrgyzstan and Iran’s relations have always been structured based on support and trust, and I believe constructive cooperation between the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran will lead to the further expansion amicable bilateral and multilateral relations. I pray to Almighty Allah for your good health, success in government affairs, and wellbeing and evermore prosperity of the Iranian nation.

Secretary-General of OPEC Mohammed Barkindo in a congratulation message addressed to President-Elect Raisi wished him success in his new position.

“In electing you, the great Iranian people have recognized your lifetime of patriotic service & dedication to the welfare of your country.”

“We cherish IR Iran’s membership of our Organization and firmly believe that with your support, wisdom and guidance, our Organization’s best days lie ahead of it.”

The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in a congratulation message addressed to President-Elect Raisi wished him success in his new position.

The Republic of Serbia is still determined to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Vucic added expressing certainty that the relations between the two countries will develop in line with mutual interest.

Former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi too in a congratulation message addressed to Raisi wished him success in his new position.

According to ” KCNA” Website, the Leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un in his congratulation message to Raisi said, “On behalf of the government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, I extend my warm congratulations to you on your election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

He added, “Your election as President is a manifestation of Iranian people’s deep trust in and high expectation for you.”

I take this opportunity to express my conviction that the friendly and cooperative relations between our two countries would further expand and develop, and wish you success in your responsible work for firmly defending the national sovereignty and building a powerful Iran.”

Raisi was elected in June 18, 2121, 13th Presidential election as the 8th president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, gaining the majority of the votes.

On Saturday, Raisi registered his victory in the June 18 presidential election by winning 17,926,345 votes out of a total of 28,933,004 ballots.

Other candidates Mohsen Rezaei Mirqaed, Abdolnaser Hemmati, and Amir-Hossein Ghazizadeh won 3,412,712 and 2,427,201 and 999,718 votes, respectively, according to the interior minister.

Shortly after the early results were out, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei urged the president-elect and those elected as village and city councilors in Friday’s nationwide elections to take the chance to serve the Iranian nation.

In a message, published as the results of Friday elections were out, Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed the massive turnout of people in the elections.
