The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced: “Iraq and the Czech Republic held a round of consultations on 5 files.”
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement: “Iraq and the Czech Republic held a round of political consultations in Baghdad, headed by the Undersecretaries of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries, which dealt with several topics, most notably the political developments in Iraq, security stability, economic cooperation, and encouraging Czech companies to invest in Iraq, especially in the fields of gas, oil, water and health, the importance of lifting the ban on Iraqi airlines, and Iraq’s role in enhancing the stability of the region.”
