France protests.. A curfew in the cities of “Dinan” and “Tourcoin” due to the violence

The authorities in Dinan, northwest France, and Tourcoing, northern France, decided to impose a curfew, in order to avoid any violence or riots, after three consecutive nights in the country, against the background of the killing of the young man, Nael, by a policeman’s bullet in Nanterre.

The local authorities in Dinan decided to impose a curfew from 8:00 pm today, Friday, while the authorities in “Turquin” decided to impose a curfew from 9:00 pm today until 5:00 am, until Monday, the third of next July.

The killing of the young man sparked riots that lasted two nights in France, especially in Paris, and that was repeated on Thursday and Friday night. The intelligence services fear a “generalization” of violence in the coming nights.

The Paris Security Directorate stated that after 3:00 am, 242 people were arrested in the capital’s departments, “Aud-de-Seine”, “Seine-Saint-Denis” and “Val-de-Marne”.

Some shops in Paris have also been looted, vandalized and even set on fire, according to a high-ranking police official.

The city of Clamart (southwest of Paris) imposed a partial curfew from nine o’clock in the evening until six o’clock in the morning to confront any acts of violence, and buses in the Paris region stopped operating as of nine o’clock yesterday evening, Thursday.
