Taif, General Directorate of Passports Director General Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Yahya inspected yesterday Taif International Airport and points of entrance into Makkah, to assess the work of passport officers and of the seasonal administrative committees responsible for Hajj regulations.
Al-Yahya highlighted the role of these committees that operate 24/7 during Hajj season to identify and penalize individuals transporting unauthorized pilgrims.
These committees ensure fair and swift enforcement of penalties against individuals who violate Hajj permit regulations, be they citizens or residents.
